ComAp has received the world´s best-known standard for information security management systems, ISO/IEC 27001. This prestigious certification demonstrates ComAp's commitment to maintaining the highest information security and data protection standards.
The certification process involved a rigorous assessment of ComAp´s information security management system on all its required chapters and annexes - including organisational, people, physical, and technological controls. By achieving this certification, ComAp has proven its dedication to safeguarding sensitive information, whether online or offline, and ensuring the three key features of data security management: confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
“Receiving ISO/IEC 27001 represents a great milestone for us. After publishing our first ESG report last year, ISO/IEC 27001 is another achievement with which we would like to show our customers the dedication to keep improving our products, services and organisational basis. We are proud that ISO/IEC 27001 clearly demonstrates the highest level of security, safety and privacy of our customers' data with us,” says Frederic Deman, ComAp´s CEO.
“Obtaining ISO/IEC 27001 resulted from many months of preparations, negotiations with our suppliers and finetuning our internal processes. Achieving it represents to our customers many benefits, from compliance with critical industry regulations or readiness for future legal requirements (EU NIS2 Directive and others) to managing information security with our suppliers or during product development and also by ensuring business continuity in cases of disasters or disruptions,” comments Adela Prochazkova, Cyber Security Manager at ComAp.
