A bundle of features for the InteliGen 500 G2 paralleling controller that significantly improves the performance of a controller, making it suitable even for more complex and demanding applications. The IG 500 G2 Suite will enable you without changing the control system to build advanced logic with enhanced PLC capacity, save physical wiring transmitting signals over CAN line or create a back-up unit in case the primary controller fails, helping to minimise power downtime and increase system reliability.

The IG500 G2 Suite is applicable to the InteliGen 500 G2 controller. The extended features suite offers: 

  • Fast and cost-effective operations with signal sharing over a CAN bus across a group of control units
  • Controller redundancy minimising solution downtime and ensuring the power isn’t compromised
  • Large built-in PLC interpreter with the use of ComAp's free PLC Editor
  • Extensive event-based history for fast and easy troubleshooting, with 750 records available 
  • Multi ECU (Electronic Control Unit) with up to 8 units enabling communication with more independent J1939 devices such as Engine Control Units, AVR modules, Breakers, etc.
  • Local baseload function allowing to maintain the given load level of a genset instead of proportional load sharing
  • Temporal change of certain parameters (even if a genset is running) via Forced values* function based on required logic
  • Locking of configuration for keeping an application know-how





* More setpoints can be forced than in the standard version of IG500 G2.
